Illustration fans should head to Sky Blue Framing and Gallery, on North View in Westbury Park, this month. They have just launched their autumn season with half of the gallery showing new, limited-edition print releases from the much-loved illustrator Quentin Blake – based on the wonderful Roald Dahl stories. This exhibition will be running all the way up to Christmas – which is helpful for those looking for a great present for any avid Dahl and Blake fans in the family. There is also a set of eight prints on show, based on Roald Dahl’s cheeky Revolting Rhymes, and another eight based on children’s classics such as The Twits, The Witches, The Enormous Crocodile, Matilda and other favourites.
The siege has begun...
“You are a cockroach, Tati. You will survive the hunger, the cold, fever and this war.”

First performed in 1953, Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett is an undeniable classic of 20th century literature.
wo hungry, battered drifters wait by a dead tree. They might have been here yesterday. And they might well come back tomorrow. Unless Mr Godot arrives first. Which he might. If they’re lucky. Which they don’t tend to be.
65 years old, but as fresh and urgent as ever, Waiting for Godot is Samuel Beckett’s iconic play about the struggle for purpose, the power of friendship and the hunt for a pair of decent boots.
The smash hit Broadway and West End Musical based on the best loved movie follows beautiful and popular sorority sister Elle Woods who loves to be pampered and is passionate about pink. When she is dumped by her boyfriend Warner Huntingdon III for a more serious girlfriend she puts down the credit cards and picks up the books. Packing up her trusty pooch, Bruiser, she bags herself a place at the prestigious Harvard Law School to try and win him back. With the support of her new friends she learns that you can be both smart and fashionable.
“His Trippy R&B Jams are equal to Marvin Gaye’s and Curtis Mayfield’s, but somehow more contemporary sounding – closer to D’Angelo meets DJ Shadow” – David Byrne, Talking Heads.
Shuggie Otis was compared, at the age of 15, with Jimi Hendrix and the great Kings of blues guitar (B.B. King, Albert King). Shuggie went on to make two expansive, genre-defying, deeply curious albums, 1971’s “Freedom Flight” and 1974’s “Inspiration Information”. The records, essentially crafted as a one-man band, floored Sly Stone, gave The Brothers Johnson their most enduring hit (“Strawberry Letter 23″) and predated the stylistic synthesist Prince by half a decade.
Shuggie Otis, son of the rhythm and blues bandleader Johnny Otis, was a guitar prodigy, cutting sessions with Frank Zappa and Al Kooper whilst still a teenager. AGMP are proud to present the legendary Shuggie Otis in concert with his full USA band.
